Helping children grow into confident learners through joyful, meaningful, and child-friendly English learning experiences.

What is Phonics?
Phonics is a foundational method of teaching reading and writing that enables children to connect letter sounds with written words.
Children learn to recognise sounds, blend them to read words, and segment them for spelling, helping them become confident and independent readers.
For example, children blend the sounds /m/, /a/, and /p/ to read the word “map”.
A strong phonics foundation enhances reading fluency, pronunciation, spelling accuracy, vocabulary, and overall language development.
